St. Catherine’s Hospital

St. Catherine’s Hospital is a charitable medical institution operating as part of the Diocese of Agra, Church of North India. It is located in Kanpur District of Uttar Pradesh State. Established in the year 1897 in the then city of Cawnpore, the hospital has contributed for over a 100 years to this dynamic and ever-growing city.

The hospital has a capacity of 100 beds which is spread across the various departments of the hospital. Being a charitable institution the hospital caters to the people of Kanpur who don’t have access to the basic healthcare facilities.

Over the period of years, the hospital has successfully established a state of the art Maternity, Paediatric, Eye, and General Surgery and Laparoscopic Department. The mission of the hospital is to carry on the healing ministry of Christ by providing preventive, promotive and curative health care to all.

Apart from treating patients the Hospital is running the School of Nursing and nurse’s hostel which has been well supported by a dynamic principal and a group of qualified and enthusiastic Tutors, Clinical Instructors and Support Staff. In addition, the School of Nursing has a-state-of-the-art infrastructure which includes a Library, Laboratory Facility, well-furnished Classrooms and sports facilities for outdoor and indoor games.
